What question did you wake up with this morning?

Posted on Dec 23rd, 2007 by echo : wonderer echo
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 23, 2007:

It was: What did yesterdays evening talk with "D" learn me about hope and feeling good. And it did a lot : hope is a  perspective that "colours", more than a way out, it is energizing  selfconfidence, creating a meaning of what might become and yet not is or will not be, and telling you it is not just a one man's undertaking.

What is your relationship to your life story?

Posted on Nov 17th, 2007 by echo : wonderer echo
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 17, 2007:

I do not have one relatonship. It changes all day.
I know I'm just a second in an ocean of life. An accident. A cocktail.
Then there is there is that other me. Being part of something great, just to be good, and to contribute to it.. . this is not in a "give and take" mindset, ...it is about planting  to have the joy to see this leads to harvesting afterwards,  ..it is about giving my time and attention to others because it matters that I  do it, ...it is about the long tterm

This is and stays not an easy thing.. this is after all my road, a road with so many limitations:  in the vastness of my own expectations, the wideness of my dreams, the smallness of my real contribution, the greatness of love and compassion, the scarceness of real friendships, the shortness of my all life moment.
This is a bumpy road, sometimes too bumpy that i just want to stop and sit and wait, and sometimes so great and satisfactional.
So I have more than one relationship to my life story. With one certainty.. I will not have accomplished all I wanted when this story ends.

serependity, coincidence or meant-to-be-and-become?

Posted on Oct 14th, 2007 by echo : wonderer echo
My son's fiancee is an austrian girl. It is important to start this story by this element. It is also important to know all of this is true ;It is dated just one year ago
The girls parents invited us for a week in the mountains of Austria, in their holiday chalet.
It was a great holiday, but also an holiday to think about afterwards. And keeping thinking of.

On an evening we sat by the fireplace, and I found a book about 2000 years ofa ustrian history and started to read about second world war .. my father was in the belgian resistance after the occupation of Belgium by the German-Austrian army. I started the conversation about the war and about my father, verry prudently as to not create any problems, keeping it to the facts. And those were that my fahter at that moment aged 23 was captured by the army and to shot immediatly because caught in the act. The German officer ordered his platoon to shoot in the air, and told my father to flee, as he did.

then they told me their part of family history in worldwar II. The grandfather of  my  future daughter in law had fought with the German-Austiran army at Leningrad and Moscow and got severely wounded, and was to die in the cold, if  there would not have been a doctor who despite all military orders occupied herself to try to help him to recover from his severe wounds. He survived, came back to his birthplace and built the chalet where we were staying together.

We conclude almost at the same time what an important moment this was for us, and for our future together: we were in a place that would not exist, if that doctor would not have acted against military orders, and moreover neither my son nor my future daughter in law as me or her father would have existed if her grandfather had died in the battlefield and/or my father would have been shot.

We all know now how we came togehter, and not why  : we all wonder if it was something to be or just coincidence.

Love to read your comments

the future is now - a forum on solar energy for everyone?

A lot of things have been written about things to come. An everytime use argument is that technology will play a major role in this turning point.I always wondered what was meant beside internet, social network software, the availablitly of knowledge without restraints, ...
and was always puzzled by the fact that there are power and authority strucutre in place who have dices ordinary people do not play.
War is such one..mostly provoked not because of "just arguments", but because of underlying economical intrests.. wars are fought for fuel, raw ore, energy needs, keeping of energy for own development, nationalism is the underlaying instrument.
So our next evolution must include the harvesting of solar energy in abundance and in a simple way(low cost) as major technology breakthrough that will  take us to our next track.
It  means the end of wars for energy, the end of nation borders, food and education for everyone, the liberation of  minds..
Maybe we can start up a forum on simply harvesting solar energy for everyone? We have to do this for all people.
